There is so much for your child to learn and so many new concepts to explore in God's marvelous creation. Kids on the Move Learning Center is the first introduction to a lifetime of learning.   It’s a journey that should start off on the right foot.

Our goal is to provide your child with an environment in which they can grow emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.

 

The World is Theirs to Discover

Children are active learners.  Our classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate learning tools and stimulating toys to discover.

The daily activities provided in each class are designed to encourage your child's physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth.  All the while promoting curiosity and exploration.  Children learn through their senses, curiosity, imitation, conversations, imagination and activities.  Some of these include art, music, books, cooking, nature, blocks, puzzles and bible stories.  The goal to the program is to provide a well-rounded curriculum that aids in all areas of development.


Playing with Purpose

Play provides the opportunity for children to engage with materials at their own level.  Free play allows for the development of cooperation, sharing and language acquisition.   When children create and participate in games of their own choosing they learn how to resolve conflicts and develop respect for rules and opinions of others.  It is through play that children  begin to gain a sense of self appreciation for their abilities.  Play provides an outlet for reducing anxiety.  Children learn to manage stress and gain self control.  They also have an opportunity to express themselves to others by rehearsing behaviors and practicing skills that assist in monitoring their own emotions.

 

"Play" time gives children opportunities to explore, experiment, use their imaginations and ask questions.  Children are encouraged to contribute their own ideas and interpretations to what they are engaged in.

 

They learn problem solving strategies with the materials they are working with and also their peers.  Children also learn what they enjoy playing with and what they find to be their least favorite.  

 

To make learning meaningful at the school level we need to make learning playful at an age appropriate level.

Curriculum 

Kids on the Move Learning Center uses a preschool curriculum and planning tool called Active Learning for Infants and Toddlers. In addition to Active Learning, we implement Phase Foundations curriculum within each classroom from Infants all the way to School Age. These programs are implemented to offer our preschool program an age appropriate and developmental program that will benefit individual students.  

The curriculum revolves around different monthly themes. Each month is then broken down into individual weekly themes that compliment that month's learning theme. 

 

The goal of this program is to provide a well-rounded curriculum that aids children in all areas of development.
 

Chapel

​

Children will be attending Chapel once a week where they will experience biblical scripture, songs, verses and words of encouragement.  

Each program features a different Bible story and key bible verses.

 

Religious Facility

We are  a religious exempt Christian child- care facility and a part of the ministries of Move Church. As such, our goal is to provide your child an experience where they can learn the fundamentals of education and feel the love of God. We pray that you and your child will find caring people whose aim is to serve you and to help your child grow. Because of our Christian philosophy and worldview, your child will be exposed to teachings of the Bible and Prayer.
